Benefits of the DeWALT DWE6005
Even though it was made for simple tasks like routing and cutting, DeWALT didn’t skimp on features. For instance, it would be better if it had a bump-stop switch. So, if you have the trimmer in one hand and the project in the other, you can just bump the trimmer against your chest, for example, and the motor will stop.
The D-shaped guard has a dust extraction system that can be taken off. This makes the guard great for working in tight areas. Underneath, DeWALT has added a bright LED work light that, along with the clear base, will help you work in tight, dark places like a newly built house, etc.
